Budapesti Negyed [Budapest Quarter]:
The quarterly journal entitled Budapesti Negyed [Budapest Quarter] was published from 1993 to 2010. The periodical was devoted to the past, present and future of Budapest. The issues were thematically organized collections focused on one specific subject. Each book-length edition of the journal comprised scholarly papers, historical sources and pieces of creative writing related to the theme at hand. The periodical was published by The Municipal Archives of Budapest. It was first edited by György Berkovits and then by Zsófia Mihancsik. I am proud to have launched such a journal and to have run it for eighteen years.
